M60A3 Main Battle Tank

The M60 is a second-generation main battle tank, introduced in 1959 as America’s primary main battle tank (MBT). M60 tanks served from 1960 to 1997, with notable deployments including Operation Urgent Fury and Operation Desert Storm. It and its variants were used widely by both the United States and its Cold War allies, especially those in NATO including Israel’s use during the Yom Kippur war.
